Having immersed myself in nutrition for the past 25 years I recently did some CPD and my eyes were opened! I have never worked one-to-one with clients, particularly with clients with issues around food, eating and weight gain – why? Because I never felt that I had any answers to offer them, or any truths to give them. I have never seen or had positive experiences of “dieting” ... and then I heard about Intuitive Eating. Finally here was something which totally resonated with me; both personally and professionally!
To free yourself from diets, calorie counting and obsessive food behaviours, to be at peace with your body and food through Intuitive Eating. It’s healthy and proportionate; it’s evidence-based; it just makes sense!
And so I’m learning more – I’m immersing myself in the practice of Intuitive Eating, and working through the journey and principles to become a more intuitive eater myself. And I’m also currently training to become an Intuitive Eating Counsellor. I am so excited about this new journey and my hope is that in the not too distant future I can start taking on clients and helping them to make this incredible journey too.
